30-Year Recluse Emerges

Veiled in evergreens, with no discernable path to its hidden front door, this home seemed to say "Go Away!" The updated home's relocated entry is now a half-timbered beacon to passersby, with a new drive to bring visitors right to the front door. No more hauling groceries up from a basement garage. Inside, a loft is removed so the back can be opened up with lots of glass to an expanded deck. Hammer trusses add character and scale to the space. Phase 2 will create a large master suite on the left side of the home.
